What Can I Compost

I have searched the literature and added more items to the list of things that can be composted. I think some of the things might be classified as not being top priority such as dog hair.

As it is Christmas I have choosen a seasonal photo of one of our Clumbers rather than a heap  dog hair.   See What Can I compost?

Food Gusto Ashby Christmas Fair

Food Gusto will be showcasing the best of food and drink at the Christmas Fair in Ashby de la Zouch on 3rd and 4th December but we will only have a Composting stand on the 3rd (Clumber Spaniel Christmas walk and fancy dress at Clumber Park on the 4th).

Come to Ashby on the 3rd, buy food and get details of how to compost any waste but better still do not waste your festive food

It has been estimated that 10% of every festive dinner is thrown way.

That comes to 17.2 million brussels sprouts, 11.9 m carrots, 11.3m raost potatoes, 10.9m parsnips, 9.8m cups of gravy, 7.9 m slices of turkey, 7.5m mince pies, 7.4 m slices of christmas pud, and 7.1m pigs in blankets.
